Rhythms is a dynamic movement practice, a practice of being in your body that ignites creativity, connection, and community. While a  simple process, the Rhythms practice facilitates deep and unending explorations, moving the dancer beyond self-imposed limitations and isolation into new depths of creativity and connection.
  

WHAT TO EXPECT
  
Rhythms is a movement meditation practice that practices the idea that everything is energy, and moves in waves, patterns and rhythms. In Rhythms, youl physically practice the art of being fluid in your body, When we open up to the flow of our physical beings, all other pathways open. It is one of the most beautiful and fascinating ways of dancing—to be in, to be around, and to watch.  Learn to  train your musical ear as well as your body. This class is fun and informal, providing a great way to relax, and get in touch with your inner self. Each step is well explained and our aim is to build your confidence, movement vocabulary and co-ordination in a relaxed and informative way. 


WHAT TO WEAR
When dressing for  a Rhythms class, think about wearing clothing that allows you to move. LUKI classes are casual and relaxed!  A dancer's body lines need to be visible, however, so baggy clothes are generally discouraged.  Most of our dancers prefer to wear leggings and a figure fitting tank top.
